  I’ve been getting A LOT of unexpected hate mail recently from the Jewish community. A lot of them believe that because I’m an African I must not know shit about whats going on in Israel and I have no right to speak about it because I’m not Jewish. This hate mail shit has been going on for almost a week now. Most of them calling me anti-Semitic for showing my disapproval with the war. Most of these statements from friends I’ve known for quite a long time in Fair Lawn, NJ. (don’t ask who they are, that’s not the point) I find it mind blowing that I could have had these Jewish friends for so long and SUDDENLY they think “*GASP*! Nova is anti-Semitic! He’s a racist! He supports Terrorists attacking our nation” Are you guys serious? 

  The point is, first off guys, I don’t support Israel’s actions ONE BIT! Not in the slightest! Their actions are no different than when the United States staged a propaganda war during 2003 flooding the news and media with lies and Propaganda Which lead to the beginning of “Operation Shock and Awe.” It marked the first day of the Iraqi invasion. Media told you that the Iraqis (or shall I say insurgents so they sound more scary according to media) had weapons of mass destruction, links to Al-Qaeda, and they even went as far as to say Osama may be involved with Iraqi insurgents. 

  We even went as far as to saying insurgents where hiding in colleges and villages, And when we bombed them. No terrorist or weapons in site. And we said something similar to What Israel said. “Anyone near these terrorist organization are no longer considered civilians and are considered “enemy combatants” and civilians should either rat out Al-Qaeda groups (which didn’t exist) or stay away from the terrorists if they don’t want to get bombed. We all know what really happened In Iraq now. That story was a load of bull and the United States disgraced themselves globally.

Now fast forward 9 years into present 2012.

     Israel is doing a mirror image of what the US did. Except this time they sent planes to drop pamphlets over the Gaza Strip stating that “civilians should stay away from terrorist if they do not wish to get bombed.” GOOD LUCK dodging rockets in the small land mass known as The Gaza Strip. Israel claims self defense against Hamas. I understand that the nation has every right to defend itself. HOWEVER. We’re talking about the IDF the 4th most powerful military on the planet. (Don’t let the small size of Israel fool you they have been backed by the US for a very long time and have a tremendously powerful elite fighting force.)

  Hamas a resistance group that his been fighting Israel has been firing unmanned home made rockets into Israel. They are unaccurate & rarely kill anyone or cause catastrophic damage.There have been casualties yes, but within the hundreds in Israel. The casualties on the Palestinian side are well upwards into the THOUSANDS! Hamas has no Army, Air Force or Navy. and they are literally rebel fighters. Against a powerful Air Force and Military? 

 Do a Google search “The Merkava Mark IV” This is an incredibly agile strong and all around impressive Israeli built tank. Incredibly powerful in terms of defense and attack. It and can easily rival an American tank.

Hamas has no tanks….or planes… (Are you beginning to see the logic here?) 

  However! Don’t get me twisted now. I do not support Hamas either. I don’t even support war period! That is the sole reason I left the United States Air Force and chose peace instead of war. At the end of the day the Hamas group are a gang of terrorist. But why? If you come in their land, drop bombs & kill entire families and you wanna suddenly call them terrorists now for avenging their families?

   Most of these people Join Hamas to fight against Israel for this reason. If you kill someones entire family, destroy their home with a rocket and life becomes difficult YOU’D BETTER BELIEVE those guys are gonna get guns and fight back. What else have they got to lose? The land they live on is shrinking. Food and shelter is scarce. the nation is divided in half, what else can they do but FIGHT! 

     This is the same thing as when the US invaded Iraq and killed countless innocents. Those family members will want to retaliate! I don’t agree with their methods of retaliation but I understand why they do it. 

    The sad thing is Most of the Jewish community (some of which I personally know) has shocked me! To call me a Racist and an Anti-Semite is downright ABSURD. Can you not recall history? Iraq? Afghanistan? Native Americans? Apartheid in South Africa. Or how about The Jewish community DURING THE HOLOCAUST! Do you not see that your Prime minister is on the WRONG side of history? The same as our President George Bush was in 2003. Face reality! Israel has already VIOLATED 65 UN resolutions against whats left of the Palestinian nation. They have passed the threshold of being a war criminal at this point.

  This war is inhumane! Its wrong! The walls around Gaza and West bank need to be demolished and there must be PEACE between these two nations! 

   So before you call me an Anti-Semite or make more idiotic comments like that, at least thoroughly analyze the situation. Remember that the media used Propaganda to incite a war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Similar to what is being done in Gaza now.
